As we enter our 80th year that will be celebrated on October 10th 2026, we mark the milestone not by looking back, but by showing how we move forward.
Our journey is built upon foundation defined by four core values: Legacy of Trust, Inspired Innovation, Human Connection, and Curated Excellence. To celebrate this milestone anniversary and bring these values to life across the communities we serve, we have launched the 80 Acts Initiative — for 80 Years of EKA. This campaign is a tangible demonstration of our commitment in action, detailing 80 ways we are investing in five different pillars of action that are reflecting the principles that have guided us since our founding. These acts prove how we as EKA show up – responsibly, thoughtfully, and with intent. For people, for progress, for the future. This is not a celebration of time passed — it is a commitment to what comes next.
The 80 Acts Initiative runs from October 10th 2025 to October 10th 2026, as announced in our Press Conference on the day of our 79 years in business celebration. These acts are not random gestures; they are strategic expressions of our Four Core Values, organized into Five Pillars of Action.

- Repair and upgrade of a poor-condition animal shelter in Moni area
- Vouchers for stock products to two families affected by the recent wildfires of the 23rd of July 2025
- Supporting Marios Antoniades in Athens Marathon, who run 42.195 km to raise funds for the charity organization Μικροί Ήρωες
- EKA Hellas: Donating seating specifically designed for educational environments to the Special Vocational Education and Training Laboratory of Heraklion. During a recent visit, our team had the pleasure of meeting with the school’s educators and students and discussing their current needs and how we can continue contributing meaningfully to improving their learning environment.

- Participation on 21.03.26 in Limassol Marathon by running with and supporting people with disabilities: 365 Foundation
- EKA Dubai: Donation of sewing machines to Nagina Naz Sewing School in Pakistan, operated by Al Quresh Foundation – a non‑profit organization that supports underserved communities through education, healthcare, and social welfare initiatives
- Volunteering with our own kiosk in the road fundraising event Πορεία Χριστοδούλας 2026 and supporting the Cyprus Anticancer Society
- Blood Donation at EKA premises on 30.04.2026
- Support and participation in the “Run-Walk” Charity Event on 16.05.2026, organized by 365 SGC Foundation Team – the first running team for people with disabilities in Cyprus – to promote equal access, participation, and inclusion in sports
- A donation to Together Forever Foundation in support of a 12-year-old girl from Abakan, who needed urgent treatment to preserve her ability to walk independently
- Donation of shower and washbasin mixers for renovation of Kyrenia Nautical Club’s bathroom areas.
- Cook for Community at EKA Premises – On 29.05.2026 we cooked lunch for our community and neighbourhood. We delivered portions to Iera Mitropoli Limassol, and served children from a charity foundation, our neighbours, and colleagues
- Donation wooden benches for the public in the Volunteer’s Park in Limassol, in collaboration with Limassol District Volunteerism Coordinative Council
- On 17.06.2026 EKA Dubai donated a 100 gallons Water-Cooler with jumbo filter for a labour camp in Al Quoz Area in Dubai
- Sponsoring young athlete Maria Sokolova who represented the National Team of Cyprus in the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Beijing on 19.06.2026
- Sponsoring young athlete Antonis Kyriakou for participation in ICF Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint World Championships in Canada, on 01.07.2026
- Main sponsors of the Gala Dinner organized by the Federation of Associations of Building Contractors of Cyprus (OSEOK), with the purpose of contributing to Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation for children with oncological and hematological diseases. Through the sponsorship packages, a total of €30,000 was raised in support of this initiative
- A donation to the Parakayak program of Kyrenia Nautical Club (NOK) for people with disabilities
- Purchase of children Book-Sets to support Theodore’s Miracle
- Donation of Children Books to Kindergarten Schools in Limassol and to the Limassol Municipal University Library
- Adopted a Child through Sophia for Children programme. This programme supports more than 4,000 children in 9 schools in Kenya
- Ice-Cream Truck to a Kids’ School. EKA Team served scoops of smiles and sprinkles of joy!
- Supporting Kids for Kindness Organization’s Initiative: A local youth volunteer non-profit organisation, raising the next generation of community-minded citizens, through acts of kindness.
- Donation of school supplies to a Primary School in Limassol for children in need.
- Collection and donation of clothing & toys to AGAPI Charity Organization for vulnerable families.
Arts & Culture
Supporting creativity, heritage, and expression. Cultural initiatives – Design, craftsmanship, and storytelling – Preservation and promotion of the arts.
- Supporting the Garage Sale Community by providing our parking space for one of their events, on 14.12.25. A community organizing pop-up markets for cool second-hand finds
- Supporting ART Explora Festival: Parallel events were hosted in our parking space for a whole week, featuring exhibits and artworks by local artists
- Supporting the Jelo6 Project in Cyprus, an art & cultural project where creators draw inspiration from Cyprus’s cultural heritage
- A creative Christmas Workshop for kids & adults in collaboration with Art & Design Chamber
- A fun Face-Painting Session during Carnival Season, for employees and their kids
- Supporting the Garage Sale Community by providing our parking space for one of their events, on 14.06.26. A community organizing pop-up markets for cool second-hand finds
- Supporting the new initiative of a Creative Summer School in Limassol, by the Limassol Municipal Arts Center – Papadaki Warehouses, in collaboration with the Limassol Carnival Museum. EKA has contributed to this programme by covering the cost for all the creative material used throughout the programme, giving children the space to create, work together, share ideas, and take part in creative and cultural experiences
- Mini-Architects Workshop: A creative workshop for kids with reference world-known architecture buildings, with Art & Design Chamber
- Mosaics Workshop with Chromo Collective in our premises. An inspiring evening for our people.

- Employee Appreciation Day | 06.03.26: A surprise in-house neck-massage session for our team, to help them relax and recharge. A small gesture to say thank you for their dedication, hard work, and team spirit they bring every day to work
- International Women’s Day: Sometimes, the smallest gestures carry the biggest meaning. On this day, we celebrated the incredible women in our team with a simple token of appreciation: A flower for each.

Launching the 80 Acts Initiative while approaching our 80 years in business
At a press conference hosted on 10.10.2025, we officially launched our year-long initiative aimed at giving back through 80 impactful actions across community, social, and environmental spheres.
Since 1946 — A legacy of Trust: From 1946 since our establishment, we have grown from humble beginnings to become a trusted name in innovation, quality, and sustainability. As we are approaching our eighth decade, this milestone is not only a celebration of history and resilience but also a bold step toward a meaningful future.
